Dashers getting ready to set off

The Duchenne Dash

The Duchenne Dash started 6 years ago, when our patron, Krishnan Guru-Murthy and a small group of friends, cycled from London to Paris. It has grown to become Duchenne UK’s biggest and most challenging event of the year!

The Duchenne Dash is a unique, exclusive and very special cycling event that emulates the iconic arrival of the Tour de France into Paris.

Our 24-hour ride leaves London on Friday, and arrives in Paris the following day. Uniquely we have motorbike escorts all the way from London to Paris: PLUS our French escorts stop the traffic for us in a rolling road block. SO, that means: NO stopping at traffic lights, no pesky cars getting in the way, support and safety all the way, and arriving into Paris along the Champs-Élysées and under the Eiffel Tower in a near Tour De France fashion.

We also offer: experienced ride captains assigned to each team, mobile bike mechanic vehicles to fix punctures and breakages as we go, all food along the way - including dinner, breakfast on the ferry, lunch on the road and various well stocked snack stops.

The Dash concludes with a gala dinner on the Saturday night overlooking the Eiffel Tower.

The Duchenne Dash 2020 will take place on 12th-13th of June 2020.

To register your interest for 2020 please email: dash@duchenneuk.org and one of the team will be back in touch in due course.

Fundraising Target:

The 2017, 2018 and 2019 Dash events raised a staggering £1million each! We have now set a precedent and want to do the same in 2020. To give us the best chance of hitting this target, we ask each cyclist commits to raising a minimum of £4,000.

The Duchenne DashMAX

For the past 3 years, a group of Dashers have MAXed the Dash by continuing on from Paris to cycle to Monaco and Biarritz over 6 days.

The MAX is a fully supported VIP cycling experience, for a small group of committed enthusiasts.
